My Artist Statement

I am an interdisciplinary artist with an interest in exploring the natural and human-made world. My practice utilizes a variety of mediums – from hand drawn illustrations, ink and digital prints, photography, and sculpture – in order to create a multifaceted exploration of my subject matter. I find inspiration in the shapes, textures, and patterns that I encounter every day, and I strive to capture these elements in my work. Through combining these elements in my work, I aim to create a visual dialogue between the natural and human-made environments and to illustrate their commonality. By engaging with a wide range of materials, I hope to create pieces that are unique and engaging, while reflecting a broad range of perspectives.
